Palazzo Gonzaga

Palazzo Gonzaga is an abandoned castle in Italy. This castle is located in a small village and has been abandoned for a number of years. The dates on the newspapers found probably already during the 70s.
I have not been able to find any further information about the history of the castle. It has been abandoned for a while and the decline is steadily increasing.
This castle is best known for the little office chamber, the beautiful large living room with the big doors and the statue. Some old work and coaches can be found in the basement.
Because the castle is built against the center of this small town it is very difficult to enter. All houses are built against the yard and the neighbors keep an eye on everything. Even when we were inside, we often heard the neighbors talking as if they were standing next to us.
The castle has been beautifully preserved in spite of the decay.
I loved the gigantic living room and the black-and-white photos on the wall.
Is Palazzo Gonzaga easy accessible?
The castle is on the public road. There are many observant neighbors so it is good to look out for not to stand out.
Is Palazzo Gonzaga worth the visit?
It is a fairly familiar urbex location, mainly because of the beautiful living room with the couches and pictures above them. I also liked the desk with the vase in the little office.
What is the location of Palazzo Gonzaga?
Palazzo Gonzaga is somewhere in Italy. It is not common to share urbex locations, gps coordinates or addresses so in this case I will also not provide them. A bit of googling is usually enough to find this beautiful spot.
Is Palazzo Gonzaga secured by guards?
Palazzo Gonzaga is not secured but we keep an eye on the local residents. If they do find strangers they will call the police. The Italian police will probably jaill you.
